In Solaria blue means royal…

So, we’ve all heard of the Zodiac Academy book series. And there are tons of reading orders to be found online. Is this yet another one? YES! But this is the one that worked best for me, that is why I am sharing.

We start with Zodiac Academy; The Awakening. Here it is we meet Darcy and Tory and where we are going to hate the Heirs. This book was a bit of a struggle to get through, but totally worth it. Believe me. You are going to fall in love with every single character, but we have to fall first.

After The Awakening we are reading Ruthless Fae and this title totally does the book justice. But, keep reading!

Book 3 is The Reckoning, where we finally get some answers and have a good feeling of the world of Solaria.

Some people make a switch, some don’t. Well I know I did and I loved it. I do not know how I could not because you will be missing so many easter eggs when you don’t do this side quest:

Read Ruthless Boys book 1 to 5. Beleive me, it is sooo worth it! I cannot say more because, spoilers, but trust me on this one.

Right back into the world of Zodiac Academy we go!

Book 4, Shadow Princess. This should feel like a warm bath with a lot of easter eggs to Ruthless Boys.

Side quest time!

We are reading Foxy Tales, Origins of an Academy Bully and The Awakening As Told by the Boys.

Why? Because of all the information you’re getting out of this side quest and the armour you are going to build for the emotional damage that will follow.

Cursed Fates. Prepare yourself for book 5.

Side Quest time! The big A.S.S. Party and Seth on the Moon and Night are short stories that will fill your heart with the so needed joy.

Book 6, Fated Throne,

Book 7, Heartless Sky

This is where it gets complicated, but it makes the experience all the better for it. You need to tandem read Book 8, Sorrow and Starlight, and Book 8.5, Beyond the Veil. I found this guide online, so it is not mine, total credits to the makers.

You will, at this point, be completely emotionally devastated. So, read Live and Let Lionel, because this is the one we hate right now. Read it, you will hate him more, I promise.

Read book 9, Restless Stars and finish the story about Tory and Darcy. Understand all the references and be a Zodiac Academy Alumni.

But I know you’re not ready to leave this universe just yet, so we do have another series that does not focus on our beloved twins, but it does focus on badass Rosalie.

Darkmore Penitentiary is the 4 book series where we get to see Roary Night again, and fall in love with so many more characters.
